Process for Submission and Acceptance

1. Applications should be submitted online no later than Monday, July 30th for review. Tiwanna Nevels, St. Augustine’s University (NC), tnevels@st-aug.edu will chair the committee to review applications. Committee members are Caitlin Cox, Talladega College (AL), Mary Jo Fayoyin, Savannah State University (GA), Mantra Henderson, Mississippi Valley State University, and Monika Rhue, Johnson C. Smith University (NC).
2. Presentations should be not more than 10 minutes to include q&a.
3. Authors will be notified by Monday, August 13th of the Committee’s decision. Applications will be judged on merit and relation to the Membership Meeting theme.


Selection Criteria
The proposal review is a blind, peer-review process.  Proposals will be evaluated by the Committee for originality and relevance to the theme. Special attention will be given to proposals that incorporate one or more of these characteristics:
