Relevance in Turbulent Times
The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library (GA) hosted the 7th Membership Meeting of the HBCU Library Alliance. Fifty-seven individuals representing forty-nine institutions convened on Monday and Tuesday, October 10 and 11 to network, strategize and declare their “Relevance in Turbulent Times.”
Veronica Cohen, Associate Vice-President for Major and Planned Gifts at Claflin University (SC) and HBCU Library Alliance Advancement Advisor, delivered an impassioned keynote address, urging members to continue their valuable work supporting students at institutions created specifically for Black Americans.
