What would you do if your ship came in?
A few of us, either by way of grants, special appropriations, donations, end of the year dollars – whatever – have received funds that must be spent YESTERDAY! You know...the old “use or lose it dollars”. If so, how did you spend it...and why?
And if you’ve NEVER received a windfall, just for the heck of it...pretend! Something to think about.
What would you do if your library received a million dollars...okay, let’s be real...$50,000?

With a windfall in the amount of $50,000 I would increase the number of e-books and databases in our collections and update the furniture (chairs, tables and carrels) in our library.

I would use part of the $50,000 to market the library resources. Part of the marketing effort would be to gather input from our users to find out what resource or service they would like to have available or expanded.
